So, what did we do today?

Well, we started with a Wordle:

Then we watched two mandatory beginning-of-semester YouTube videos (which class doesn’t start with a YouTube video these days?

And we compared its narrative structure to a different video (by Israeli musician and YouTube composer, Kutiman) that is only apparently more to the point:

And then, we counted our blessings, and listed our courses, because in order to begin to understand what music in Israel may be (and to listen to it), we are up against a few odds. (Just read the news from the Middle East, these days or any day).
